My ex & I dated for 7 years. We broke up 2 years ago and haven't seen each other since. He calls me up out of the blue and says that him & his girlfriend just got genital warts and he thinks they got them from me...I DON'T HAVE GENITAL WARTS! I've been tested for all STD's including AIDS and am totally clean. Is he just grasping at straws to hope his new girlfriend didn't cheat on him or what?

No, actually you are crazy to think the only possibility is that his girlfriend gave it to him. In reality, a man who dates someone 7 years with no commitment was most likely active on the side. Perhaps his phone call to you was fueled by guilt that he could have infected you and him saying you gave it to him was out of his own shame. No matter the reason, the fact is it really doesn't matter what he thinks. What matters is protecting yourself. You obviously weren't using condoms the entire time or he wouldn't have a reason to call in the first place. Perhaps this should be a wake up call to either abstain or to always insist your partner wears a condom.
If I were you I would get tested again as sometimes doctors miss things. Especially before you have sex with someone and put them at risk. It is the moral thing to do. Provided people that have sex outside of the confines of marriage care about morals.

Get tested again, then tell him calmly he did not get them from you and you can show him the test results. Tell him either he got it from her or another person but def not you.
He could have cheated on you, you never know. Genital warts don't show up and can be "dormant." Either way I would be sooo sickened if my ex told me he had an std lol TMI.

HPV is tricky. There is no test for men and they usually don't have symptoms. Women can have the virus and no warts, also. If you have been tested for HPV and don't have it, they obviously didn't get it from you! As far as the two of them go, it would be hard to tell who gave it to whom unless one of them had it knowingly and passed it on. Wierd story!

It sounds to me that either your ex has cheated and caught, transfered HPV. he is looking at you to blame to get the light off him....unless she brought it up to him a a possibility then she probably cheated on him. just let them both know that the truth will set them free and to stop the spread they should find out who and where they got it from to make sure that person knows. they should also be mature about it and let any future partners know right away.

Maybe he cheated on her and is blaming you for it to save his own a** but I would get tested aging and show him the negative results. He may have cheated on u to and now you may have it!GOOD LUCK

you just tell him that you were tested and you have proof and maybe hes the slut that cant stop sleeping with people hes just looking for someone to blame serves him right he got what he deserves
