I'm assuming that the systolic is 100 and the diastolic is 73, as the systolic cannot possibly be higher than the diastolic. Now 100/73 is not low blood pressure, as new guidelines from the AHA state that optimal blood pressure should be BELOW 120/80. A blood pressure of 120/80 and higher is now considered prehypertension. There is nothing to be concerned about unless he feels dizzy or lightheaded.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

There is no such thing as 10 systolic blood pressure. It needs another number to go with this. The 73 on the bottom is normal.

A blood pressure of 10/73 is not possible, did you mean 100/73???
If so that is a good blood pressure. but if he is feeling dizzy then take him to the Dr.

100/73 is a NORMAL blood pressure. If he has any symptoms he should see his doctor at some point but you do NOT need to see a dr for normal blood pressure.
If you have somehow got a reading of 10/73 you need to get you machine calibrated/changed as it's impossible.

not sure if you just misstyped it but a blood pressure of 10/73 isn't possible...if you meant 100, then that is actually a fairly good blood pressure. Low BP typically isn't anything to worry about especially since so many other medications cause blood pressures to drop low.

I have been told in the past that low blood pressure is not anything to worry about and that it is only high blood pressure that should really concern you. However if you are worried then the best thing to do is go and visit the doctor, they are the only person who can advise you on what would be best to do.
