This is very common. It often occurs in winter due to excessively dry air in buildings. Its not a medical concern. You can often reduce the bleeding by using a humidifier or saline nasal spray several times per day.

Nasal congestion can often lead to dry, raw tissue in your nose. That tissue can sometimes bleed a little, especially if you blow your nose hard.
It is not necessary to see a doctor unless you have additional symptoms that demand attention.
You can deal with the issue on your own by taking a non-drying decongestant - one that contains the medication guaifenesin. This medication makes your mucus a little more moist and will help keep your nasal passages from drying out any more.
You might also get some help from applying some Neosporin or a similar ointment to the inside of your nose. Put a pea-sized amount on the end of a cotton swab, insert it into the nostril, and spread the ointment over the interior surface of your nose. Use a second cotton swab for the other nostril - it's unlikely to cause a problem but cross-contaminating is never a good idea.
Best of luck to you

It is not unusual to have small amounts of blood in your mucous especially during an upper respiratory infection (cold).
It is caused from small capillaries (tiny veins) in your nasal passage that get ruptured from blowing your nose too hard.
Normally they cause no problem and heal quite quickly.
Try to use a saline solution to moisten your nose so you wont have to blow so hard.
Hope you feel better!

Once we close the doors for the heat the house season lol it tends to get very very dry. My best advice to alleviate this problem is to get yourself a good humidifier for your home.
This will help stop the problems with your nose bleeding.
This is a very common problem and easily resolved. If putting in a humidifier does not help you out, I would then talk to my health care provider.

It is probably dry membranes from having a cold which I assume is why you have the mucous or from allergies.
