On christmas eve my boyfriends aunt has his family over for awhile. They are serving like deli style sandwhiches and drinks. Its pretty relaxed, nothing fancy. Well I am meeting my boyfriend there when i get out of work. The thing is I dont want to walk in empty handed, I feel I should bring something. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

It is always thoughtful to bring a gift when invited to someones home. Three gifts that come to mind are a nice bottle of wine, a good box of chocolates or flowers. No woman will ever turn up her nose at any of these gifts, unless of coarse she doesn't drink, is on a diet or has severe allergies. LOL

The deli sandwiches sound great! So I would bring dessert. Like a bottle of red and white wine and a box of fancy chocolates! Every one will enjoy it! Merry Christmas!

Either of these can be made in advance and served at room temperature...

I made this fudge yesterday (I omitted the nuts and it turned out wonderful) and it was SOOOOO easy and fast I was amazed...and it tastes really good too!

I made these for Thanksgiving and I was told to bring them to Christmas as well. I used diced green chilies instead because some of my family doesn't like it as hot as I do. They turned out incredible!! I made a double batch for Thanksgiving and they were gone in about a half an hour! I am making a quadruple batch for Christmas!!

Well wine is always nice or of course you could go for the bath set (although depending on what kind of woman his aunt is she might take it the wrong way!). I'm sure whatever you get her she'll be grateful :-). Also flowers are always nice and so are some fancy chocolates! I'm sure she'll love the present that you get her-Good luck!

A nice hostess gift might be something she doesn't have to use for her party. She might already have everything ready. So maybe candles. Your b/f could tell you a little something about his aunt (age, hobbies, interests). Maybe a nice book or flavored coffee. Maybe a disposible camera or two to pass around for her to have pictures of her party.

Shes 14 and a woman, and hes sixteen and a guy. "aunt" has no longer something to do with something. Shes has a weigh down on him, and hes being well mannered with somewhat "guyness" thrown in (men gotta flirt with women human beings, even their "aunts"), besides the fact that it doesnt imply something. as long as hes nevertheless being common with you and additionally you tell him what you are able to evaluate "over the line", youll be great.
