i think that vegetarians have trouble getting enough iron mainly. most vitamins come from fruits and vegetables so you should be fine. Just make sure you get enough protein

I am not a complete vegetarian but I limit my meat intake and sometimes eat 'no meat' meals, etc. I take these vitamins daily:

Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin B50, Vitamin D, Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc, and Fish Oil.

I am very healthy and rarely ever get even a cold. I take the individual vitamins rather than the single multi-vitamin and find it much more effective. Keeps me with plenty of energy and health. I also eat as much natural/organic foods as I can, along with other foods. I am not too picky with my eating habits. Works well for me :) Good luck and health to you!

VegLife makes really good tasting vegan vitamins.

Why do you think you need vitamins? All the research shows that we should be able to get all of our needs met if we eat a balanced/variety of food diet.

Scientist are smart and that they have found vitamins and minerals that our body's metabolism need, and what percentage of protein/carbs/fat ratios and calories our bodies also needs (though the theories change every year. Now they are doing studies on third world country starving children by feeding them protein/carbs/fats and finding out that the body needs were lower than the studies done on well fed children in civilized nations), BUT there is alot of enzymes, intrinsic factors, digestion, phytonutrients (that they are studying now that antioxidants are in the media), and probably more little things like the selenium content of a vegetables from depleted soils is nonexistent and our body needs it (based on studies from organic vs. conventional vegetable nutritional basis).

In other words, use the vitamins for supplementation, not for nutritional needs. Be aware of the food you are putting or not putting into your body. Become responsible for your own health and well being by making you sure you eat a variety of foods (the world is full of food - that is not of animal origin).
