Jesus,Christ. Smoking Weed, or any substance for that matter is not the one reason you have white spots, its simply a small factor. the white spots is an infection..could be Tonsolitus, something like that, its a common thing . But if you smoked at a party, and you shouted (strainned your voice) or drank alot, the infections understandable, it happens to everyone now and again, the fact your throats not used to a substance so dry as the one you described, its only understandable. I recomend for your throat, vitiman C, drink honey to sooth the throat, dont talk, rest it, try not to cough, or strain your throat, gargle salt water, drink warm drink, and relax. Now for the weed, I admit i do it, many people do, but If you are going to try it it VERY important you know the dealer very well before you buy or try anything for the first time, and not just he lives next door, know him socially, needs to be a friend of yours or someone you know really well otherwise...for all you know that could have been From your own god damn garden! Dont worry about it, relax, if your throat dosent clear in a few days then simply go back to your doctor. Have a great christmas, dont let the morons on here put you down, many of us have been there my friend ;) message me for more information

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Firstly you don't get bacterial infections from smoking anything! Chances are it was just coincidence that you got a throat infection when you had your first smoke. If you did catch it last night then it could of been possible that someone else had it and passed it on to you by passing the spliff. As for the dry mouth, that's a common side effect of being stoned and absolutely nothing to worry about. I have been smoking cannabis for the past 10 years and have seen pretty much all it's side effects. The worst thing I've ever seen happen is a whitey (Nausea caused by over indulgence).

Hi don't blame smoking weed, I have done it and it not bad as people make it out to be, but if you do not know who it came from it could have been spiked with something or you are allergic to it, see your doctor, my doctor knows i smoke weed. But definitely it not the weed i have smoked for over 20 years and that never happened. I am not saying it good to smoke weed, but it also not good to drink alcohol, the only diffrence is one is legal and the other is not, but alcohol is the worst of two evils. Everyyhing as a time and place and do not over do anything, know your limit.

Gargling with salt water cannot hurt anything and may be soothing for you. I have never heard of that from smoking pot, but if the doctors say it's bacterial, then the antibiotics should work. Go back to the doc if the spots are still there after you have finished all the pills they gave you.

Did they start you on an antibiotic? If he said it was bacterial, they should have. Gargling with salt water will help as will taking tylenol or ibuprofen on a regular basis. It was not the weed but you need to stop this - it can get you a whole lot more trouble than just a sore throat.

I highly doubt it was from smoking. It sounds more like strept throat. Keep gargling and drink warm things. I go for hot tea. Usually in about a day it stops hurting. Also check with any friends you have smoked with and see if any of them are sick!

The antibiotics will probably take care of it and I'M SURE it is some type of bacteria -- and my guess is you had an infection and didn't even know it -- it is just a coincidence....don't worry. I've had white spots on my throat and I was usually a little sick at the time.....don't worry.

Hello,
I take it you bought this mj off the streets?
If it is the marijuana which is doubtful, but maybe it was moldy. Maybe it was lased with something.
Were you sharing what ever it was that you smoked out of, not wise.....

The smoke more then likely just irritated what was already there. Get something for your sore throat. We all get sore throats.

Having a gargle wouldn't hurt, most bacteria don't like salt (neither do I, gag). If the pain has gone when you've finish your antibiotics and the spots are still there go back to your doctor and have him check for thrush. Don't panic, I will go.
