If you plan on having sexual intercourse, you'd better....they can get it up their urethra and such. I've heard of spreading the love, but this is ridiculous1!

To do otherwise is simply socially irresponsible!

Yes you should as they can transmit it back to you once you have gotten rid of it if you are sexually active. The doctor can advise you how to deal with that, but if you want to get rid of it for the time being then your partner should be treated as well. There is no shame in having a yeast infection as many women suffer from it on a regular basis and it can come down to whether you are susceptible to this type of infection or not as to if you will keep getting it.

Yes, you definitely need to tell your partner. A man can get a yeast infection too, and wouldn't you be the happy couple, both having a yeast infection. :P Yes, definitely tell him, and you shouldn't have intercourse until you've fixed the problem.

Yes you should. If you have unprotected sex your partner can get them. For men when they have a yeast infection they are more likely not to notice it. So the infection could be spead back and forth. You dont want that.

Yes! You can give a yeast infection to your partner. Explain to him that they are no big deal and almost every woman gets them because of a ph imbalance. Avoid having sex until it is treated. There are plenty of over the counter products to treat this.

You should tell them because it's possible for a guy to get a yeast infection too, especially if they are not circumcised. If you don't feel comfortable telling them than just refrain from sex until it clears up.

If you mean your "sex" partner, tell him / her.

Yeast infections can cause some problems for your partner during unprotected sex. And any attempts to "explore" your lower regions will probably cause some unpleasant moments for your partner. Better to tell him / her in advance.

If your partner is mature enought to understand what a yeast infection is all about, then I say yes, why not. If your partner wants to have sex, and you don't then I say yes, why not.

It isn't healthy for you or your partner to engage in sexual intercourse while you have a yeast infection, so should it come to that you should tell him.

But in the same respect if he doesn't ask and there is nothing impending of that nature, it is your personal business and at your discretion to tell him or not :)

You should probably tell them. Honesty and trust are the basis of any relationship. Since yeast infections are contagious, could you have gotten it from them?

Good Luck

If you use condoms and there is no physical contact, then it is none of their business, but if you don't, then you need to tell them because they could get it. Make sure you wear a condom to prevent from it spreading from partner to partner. Good Luck.
