if my cold made me cough alot I would take almost anything.A nagging cough can be so upsetting when you try everything you would use for a cold and nothing helps that cough one would be very tempted to try anything no matter what it taste likes....

If there were a cure, yeah, I think I would. My colds almost always lead to bronchitis, and several years ago a doctor gave me some cough medicine. It doesn't taste all that great, but it's the only thing I've ever had that stops the cough, and therefore the almost pulled muscles from coughing so hard. If I'm willing to take that, I don't see why I wouldn't take something that would result in me never getting bronchitis in the first place.

There is no cure for the common cold. You just have to ride it out and take cold remedies to relieve symptoms.
