In athletes it's OK, but better have yourself checked out with a cardiologist, as it may be an early sick sinus disease.

That rate is fine for you once you don't feel any side effects like dizziness, fainting, or light-headedness. If you are fit, then this is normal, as your heart has become more efficient due to exercise. If you aren't, and are not on any medications as well, it is still okay. If you have a blood pressure monitor, take it and it should be in the range of 110/70 for optimal health. If you have or get symptoms, talk to your doctor for possible plans of treatment.

A heart rate in this range for someone who does some sort of physical activity (either employment wise or exercise) is perfectly normal. Some athletes have resting heart rates in the 40's and function perfectly. Unless you have symptoms associated with this heart rate, I would not worry about it.

Depending on your health that's great. I'm 55 and my resting heart rate is 58 or so. I was a runner when I was younger and still stay active. If you have other health issues then it could be a problem. A slow heart rate is called Bradycardia.

if you an athlete, than it's find,. But if you are not, than something could be wrong. But sometimes, one can have a slow pulse but nothing is wrong with the body. If this thing doesn't interrupt your daily activity or work that nothing to worry. But if it does, then you should go meet a doctor and do a med check up.

It is ok, but it does mean your not active enough. I recommend 30 mins of exercise a day. Especially aerobic it will help your body to circulate better and to handle stress. Also your breathing will be much better. Hope that helps.

That is low but certainly not unheard of. People of high fitness also have lower resting heart rates. if you haven't already, get the doc to check this out, and check your blood pressure too. If your doc says its fine then its fine.

If you dont have light-headedness, or fatigue it is probably ok.And if your rate doesnt drop to the low rate from a high rate (Tachy-brady). I reccomend a checkup.
