What is 100% non-toxic, or the most healthy. I know incense is smokey, liscol?, could have bad breathing chemicals in it, that damage the brain?, it's like similar to breathing another form of air pollution. What is best?
(damn ciggarette smoke, and the nasty restaurant across the street makes it smell horrible in here)
thanks

You could try a small bowl of white vinegar for the cigarette smoke, and get a potpourri to freshen the air against the food smells. They do sell sprays that are deodorizers like OUST, but the label warns that you should do a test spray and wait 24 hours to make sure no one has a reaction.

If you smoke, there's not really any way to get the smell out because you're just replacing it.

But if you stop smoking, use vinegar to clean the glass. And be prepared to clean several times before your cleaning rag or paper towels stop coming away brown. And use a lot of baking soda to clean other things. Keep bowls of baking soda and vinegar out to soak up the odor.

Shampoo your carpet too, either with vinegar or ammonia. And after that, get a couple of live plants: That should help clean the air some.

Good luck!
