Ok... i became vegetarian (not vegan) a month ago, and im running out of ideas about the meals.
I am 125 pounds, male, 5.5' and would like to gain some 10 pounds.
I just need ideas of high calorie meals, and if you know can you include the number of calories in each one?.

Im working with my yoga teacher about the vitamines and minerals that i am replacing by being vegetarian so do not worry about that, i just need to add more options to the menu but packing as much calories as i can.

Thanks you.

Start adding nuts to your diet. They have higher calories and fat, but the good kind. Cheese also adds calories.

Anything with good unstaurated fats should let you put on weight as still being healthy - overdosing on junk and fried food might help you put weght on but could have other consequences on your health. So try lots of nuts, seeds and avacados are great if you like those so maybe try mexican food with lots of beans cheese and guacamole! Enchiladas or tacos are always tasty options. When cooking with oil use sunflower oil.

Hope it helps - good luck! x

Ovo-Lacto vegetarians generally have no problem getting enough calories from cheese and eggs. If you want something a little healthier, learn to make olive oil your friend. Saute all your veggies in it, add it to all your sauces, etc.

To listen to my girlfriend, its hard to enjoy a non-fattening meal. Maybe I'm just making bad choices.
Cheeses (since you are not vegan), pasta
vegitarian foods are everywhere, just check the labels.

well, here in China, they cook all their vegetables in vegetable oil... You could try that, I'm sure it packs a whole bunch of calories =P Also, try adding mayo to your lettuce sandwiches, high calories.

If you like avocados, eat those. They're fairly high in (healthy) fat and calories. You can make guacamole for your veggie tacos.
