I believe there are several cheeses made from soy protein and other vegetable protein. You can get a vegan Edam, cheddar, mozzarella, gouda. There is a company called Sheese and you can get their vegan cheeses around the UK. I know Whole Foods Market in London has them. Good Luck! All cheeses are gluten free.

I was trying to find out if Quorn had any gluten in it, but I couldn't find any reference to gluten on their site. Their products are made from mycoprotein, which is from a type of mushroom i THINK. It's a vegetarian meat substitute, not sure if it qualifies as vegan, though. I used to like it a lot, but I haven't really seen it for ages.

Anyway, most Quorn products are on the poultry side of the taste band, so could be worth a look, i guess.

Check out www.vegweb.com for holiday recipes. You should find something gluten-free.

Or you can go an alternate route and have a stuffed squash with vegetables.

I would assume she's avoiding Glutein because of Celiac's disease, aka Glutein Intolerance.

Celiac's is a very serious condition and can cause major problems if you accidentally ingest it.
