When I want a snack I usually have a small bowl of cereal. Some honey bunches of oats is really good.

Height doesn't matter. Fruit is always good. A small handful of nuts can be good. You can always check out Clif Nectar bars, which are just fruit and nuts. You can keep several in your bag and eat them when you get hungry.
