Some people just amaze me by responding to questions they know nothing about. a blood sugar of 94 is not low. Its actually considered normal. Anywhere between 88-110 is in the normal range. However, I would have estimated your sugar to be a little higher than that, since you had just eaten. Check your sugar a few different times in the day just to be certain, but I doubt you have any worries.

Immediately after a big dinner like that your sugar will be high. 3 hours later it should be normal again so 94 is very good.

The normal range for blood sugar is about 60 mg/dL (milligrams of glucose per deciliter of blood) to 120 mg/dL, depending on when a person last ate.
In the fasting state, blood sugar can occasionally fall below 60 mg/dL and even to below 50 mg/dL and not indicate a serious abnormality or disease. This can be seen in healthy people, particularly after prolonged fasting.
Blood sugar levels below 45 mg/dL are almost always associated with a serious abnormality.
So chill out and enjoy .

Generally the blood glucose level that is given as normal is 70 to 110 mg/dl and that is called the Fasting Plasma Glucose (FPG). It is measured after having a time gap of atleast 8 hrs after the last meal. FPG between 110 to 126 mg/dl is termed as Impaired Fasting Glucose (IFG). FPG>126gm/dl is criteria for diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The blood glucose level measured after a meal is called the Post Prandial glucose level. It is measured after taking 75 gms of anhydrous glucose orally and measured after two hours. If FPG<60 gm/dl then only it is termed as hypoglycemia. What you have measured is somewhat like the Post Prandial glucose level. So it is within normal range.
