i do not currently smoke, but i would like to recreationally smoke marijuana. would i die from the smoking? i know that MJ expands your blood vessels and this is the part i worry about. will i have another pulmonary embolism if i smoke MJ?

If you don't currently smoke MJ why would you start. Is this even a serious question. Inhaling a large amount of foreign substance, otherwise know as smoking, is bad for you. If you have already had cardiovascular and pulmonary problems why even consider compromising the progress you and your doctors have made. Yes, smoking MJ will most definitely compromise your health.

Smoking MaryJane is not a good idea,it has its side effects,but so does life it must and will go on with or without you here.Only you know whats best for you,I have Hep C and with that comes alot of medical problems,I used to be a nurse who contracted Hep C through my job.Now, I smoke marijuana it helps ease my pains...Good Luck with your lungs,sorry I wasnt much help to answer your question.

not a good idea. smoking marijuana decreases oxygen in the blood causing it to starve the brain for a short period of time. anytime you have blood clots you need to be more worried about your health than usual.good luck
