Brocolli, spinach and cauliflower as well as kale all are very high in minerals. Eaten in excess they can contribute to kidney stones. I have had to scale back my consumption becase of forming kidney stones every two years like clockwork. Analysis of the mineral content indicated I was eating too much of the dark green veggies.

That works out to about 5 1/2 cups of broccoli a day.. I don't think it could be bad for you, since it's rich in nutrients.

500grams? That's really nothing.
I eat more than 500 grams of stuff every day.
I just ate about 900 grams of baked yams.
If you said 4.5kg, then I'd wonder.

I'm no doctor, but green vegetables contain a lot of vitamin k. Vitamin k can thicken blood. So, if you are taking blood thinning drugs or have a tendency of to get blood clots (birth control, varicose veins, etc.) would might want to reduce the greens. Otherwise, if you don't mind the gas, eat up!

no, its not going to hurt you, but you should try making a broccoli and cauliflower salad with some dressing you also put bacon in it. So you are getting the nutrients of the broccoli as well as other things!

I don't think you will O.D. on any vitamins but I would deffinately try to round It with other foods. checked on the quantity to amount of vitamins to the daily value.
