I think I have the only true morally consistent position - I am against both abortion and capital punishment for the exact same reasons - I think matters of life and death should be left in God's hands.

Murder is against God's law.Killing an unborn is also murder.Tearing a living body from the womb is murder. They feel pain also. Some people are don't see the unborn as a baby but as a fetus. It doesn't change the facts by calling them a fetus instead of a baby that abortion is still killing.God created that life is is not for man to take.

To be honest - I think it's got something to do with thinking.

Death Penalty does NOT eliminate the crime, but it does cost money, it does take suffering from the criminal, and it also always carries a chance of investigators making a fault.

Abortion of something with no developed nervous system, sometimes no heartbeat and no functioning organs is certainly not nice, but it is not murder. Plucking flowers isn't murder either.

For the record: I am NOT for abortion at all, I believe it is often the worst choice somebody can make. But it isn't my place to judge others, and there ARE horrific cases where women killed themselves in order for a fetus to die. We must enable women to make a choice, because the one who is hurt is SHE, and to call a fetus within the first trimester a baby does take it a bit far. It could be one, but that's it.

I've met a few people who are against abortion, some agree it has its place in society. But I've never come across a person who supports murder.

Vice versa? You mean most who don't agree with abortion are pro-murder?

Your essentially asking how can people have these 2 views at the same time:
1) "killing people is wrong"
2) "killing unborn people is not wrong"
Surely they are completely contradictory.

However I don't think abortionists actually have view 2). Instead they have 3 views

1) "killing people is wrong"
2) "unborns are not people"
3) "killing unborns is not wrong"

You see - their position is logically consistent. However their view 2) is completely debatable, but let's leave that to another question.

No, abortion isn't homicide. Abortion is the female figuring out directly to terminate her being pregnant because of fact it fairly is her in basic terms selection. Rape? Incest? purely unprepared to shelter the duty of a new child? individually, i think of it fairly is inaccurate for a female to have a sprint one for in undemanding terms egocentric motives and he or she is incapable of elevating the new child effectively. a new child merits a house the place people can like it and shelter it. this would not mean that if I ever have been given pregnant, i could run out and get an abortion. I purely think of that's the female's precise to opt for what she needs to do together with her very own physique. do no longer approve of abortion? Then don't get one and close up. i know somebody who have been given pregnant because of fact she wished a sprint one to furnish her love that her mothers and dads does no longer provide her. know what she did? She deserted her infant with its' grandparents and ran off after the father, who have been given deported. particularly circumstances, that's an attainable selection for a female to evaluate. It fairly relies upon on the circumstances. The age of the mothers and dads, their relationship, their very own comments, the circumstances surrounding the theory, and particularly some different factors. particularly circumstances, that's the final ideas. in case you particularly don't think that a female has the final to opt for what she needs to do together with her physique, then bypass to a rustic the place the ladies have not have been given any rights.

Those that believe in abortion but are against murder in general usually believe that an unborn baby is not actually a life because it does not breath on it's own. Not my opinion personally, but have heard this argument.

To murder a person who has been living for sometime, invokes a loss. Aborting an unwanted fetus, is a relief to many women.

I'm with you until the vise verse (sic).

Does that mean "Why do people who are against abortion believe in murder?"

Well this is really very obvious but i'll say it anyway. People do not always believe that having a termination of pregnancy is murder! That is only an opinion. As any experienced human knows,,,,,, nothing is black & white. Live a little, you may see things more clearly.
ps. learning to spell will help you with your written communication.
