No.
The Church has pondered the suggestion of Limbo for a few hundred years and has decided that it is not a good idea. Limbo was never official doctrine.
Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. He who believes and is baptized will be saved." (Mark 16:15-16)
For centuries, people have wondered about children who died before they were baptized. The Bible does not explicitly state that they will go to heaven.
Limbo was suggested as the place where unbaptized babies went when they died. This idea was never official Church doctrine and has been rejected.
The Church now says that it is not sure what happens to unbaptized babies when they die but she entrusts them to the mercy of God.

With love in Christ.

limbo was (for lack of a better term) a concept a theory. it was NEVER a teaching of the church - like purgatory, TRimity, Eucharist, etc. after more research and meducal understanding and such - limbo is not recognized - and in reality never was officially.
you mention communion in the hands.... yeah i don't do that - i don't feel worthy!

Limbo is still an acceptable theological speculation and that's all it has been before too. It's never been a binding teaching. I find it quite logical though.
It's also allowed to think that they go to heaven-how they get there is another thing and I find it quite problematic but I'm no theologian.

No.
Because the Pope officially decided that it doesn't exist any more.
Not sure how he just "vanished" it like that.... but apparently the Pope has the final word in such things.

yes, pal..........the truth is.....I am not even a modern Catholic.......I follow the ways of SSPX..........It's so confusing to follow the Vatican II teachings.........that now.....you can refer to Baltimore Cathecism.................
Vatican II emphasizes universalism........with Moslems, Hindus.....that is false ecumenism......and I encourage you....to see the following websites...........
I was so confused last time when I follow the ruling that I can eat meat on Friday....it's an option to eat, btw.........but when I discover the Council of Trent's teaching, I found out that the rule still binds for Catholics..............
about Limbo.....haha....i don wanna get out of track.....please refer to the last link below.....scroll down the page.......and look for Limbo..............Vatican II CANNOT change the Council of Trent teachings........

yes, they say all unborn or aborted babies stay in limbo till either the mother has repented and been forgiven or acknowledgement has been given by the priest that there were special circumstances.
