I stand corrected. I misremembered the verses in Luke, and stupidly didn't go look them up. My apologies to all.

Yes and no. The state of Illinois has a funning law regarding this. If you are brought to the hospital for a medical reason and an unknown problem or cause of the medical condition the doctor can ask for a set of Chem 7,21 or other standard lab tests to be run. These lab tests will show if chemicals are present in the blood system to help him in making a determination for treatment. However these test result can not be used as evidence againest you in a court of law and carry the same doctor patient confidentiality as if you are in the doctors office. However, if you are pregnant and the levels of drugs in you system are so high that they have cause death or permanat damage to a unborn child then the doctor is obligated by law to contact the local police and file a report. This report is then given to the County attorney for review in order to see wether this warrants charges to be filed. If your sytem only showed a trace or occasional use of Maijuana then you don't have anything to worry about. If however you have large quantaties of heroin, cocaine or other know street drug know to cause fetal birth defects then you might be facing charges depending on the outcome of the infact at birth. You must remember that treatment to a individual is different than the treatment of a pregnant women, becuase Illinois deferenciates this as two people even if the baby is still within the abortion limits. I hope this has helped you, and good Luck!

First of all, Mary did give consent to the Archangel Gabriel when he asked her if she would give her consent to carry the Son of God. (Luke 1:28)

Noah had the Ark for the animals but Mary was the Ark for the Son of GOD.

So take a look, don't you think that maybe the role of women were more important than the role of men in early christianity.

How do you know it was with out her consent? where in scripture do you find Mary telling God no you can not do this to me. On the contrary, when it was indeed revealed to her what she was to do, I believe her reply to God was "behold the handmaiden of the Lord" (Luke 1:26-38).

Did she have doubts?, I'm sure at first she did, as many of us do when God calls upon us to do the things He calls us to.

Did she have doubts later?, yes she did, like all humans we fall short.

Did God keep His promise to her? How many years has it been that we still speak of the mother of Lord Jesus with reverence, and call her blessed. I believe the answer is yes, you can say yes to Him now if you like, and let Him come into your heart, and He will give you peace, as He gave a young girl, called to a great task.....

bless you in His peace

al 4 now B.

PS: Gods provided for her marriage as well and Joseph accepted her and this Holy child. God dose all things well.

I guess it says ... If you want some, just bend her over and take it. There isn't much respect for women at all shown in the Bible... It was just that way during the Biblical era and another reason why the values taught in the Bible must be carefully examined. Some are bias against women... most are pure fantasy... and a few are worthy of adopting as long as they are not taken as divinely given.

The answer about the conception of Mary is written in the Coran :
(15)And make mention of Mary in the Scripture, when she had withdrawn from her people to a chamber looking East,
(16) And had chosen seclusion from them. Then We sent unto her Our Spirit and it assumed for her the likeness of a perfect man.
(17) She said: Lo! I seek refuge in the Beneficent One from thee, if thou art God-fearing.
(18) He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son.
(19) She said: How can I have a son when no mortal hath touched me, neither have I been unchaste?
(20) He said: So (it will be). Thy Lord saith: It is easy for Me. And (it will be) that We may make of him a Protant for mankind and a mercy from Us, and it is a thing ordained. (21) And she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place.

Just after its birth, Jesus (peace upon him) spoke :

29) He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet,
(30) And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive,
(31) And (hath made me) dutiful toward her who bore me, and hath not made me arrogant, unblest.
(32) Peace on me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!
(33) Such was Jesus, son of Mary: (this is) a statement of the truth concerning which they doubt. (
34) It befitteth not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should take unto Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.
(35) And lo! Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So serve Him. That is the right path.
(36) The sects among them differ: but woe unto the disbelievers from the meeting of an awful Day. (37)

Take caution from differents sects that were up from the memory of Jesus (catholicism, protestantism, etc.).

Only the Coran has been protected by the Lord from modifications, nor the Bible and the Thorah, even though the originals were utimate verity from God.

It was necessary that man's sin did not descend on Jesus through his earthly father.

Altyhough it was also necessary that Jesus be of lowly birth, he was not illegitimate. He was born into the family of Joseph and was, as a result, a son of Joseph.

When the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and told her what was to be, she said, "Be it done unto me according to thy will."

In the bible, women are portrayed as property, receptacles, slaves, just about anything but human beings with inalienable rights.

Doesn't she consent in Luke 1:38?

Anyway, it... well...... it doesn't paint a flattering picture of us. We're suitable to give birth and keep quiet and that seems to be it.

Even if she didn't consent, the bible will have been edited by the catholics to get rid of the fact.
