DURING SURGERY, is that what you meant! well there are monitors around you and the anesthesiologist is competent enough to tackle such a situation.
Were you in general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia, and which source gave you the news.
Anyway it happens but it's extremely rare, kindly add details.
