A simple 'Yes' or 'No' will suffice.
A Note to the Greenpeace Tree-Huggers:
We do not want, nor need, your long-winded answers.

I have not stated where I stand in this argument, for reasons which have become apparent.
I am amazed how quickly people in the 21st Century can lose their temper.
If you feel like having a go at someone, you have chosen the wrong person. I asked a simple non-offending question, why can some people not give a simple non-offending answer?

IMPORTANT:
Couldn't help notice the way the pattern of thumbs-up and thumbs-down ratings have turned out.
It seems that most people back the answer 'YES' and most have given a thumbs-down for the answer 'NO'.
If you don't believe me (or don't WANT to believe me), check the facts out for yourself below.
Example: More thumbs-up for 'willow' (answered YES)
Example: More thumbs-down for 'dana1981' (answered NO)
I have not said whether I agree or disgree with these results, but they are the TRUTH.

Yes.
Global Warming?, OK what caused or stopped the Ice Age? no pollution then except natural things like volcanoes, we have had bad summers for years and great summers.
Look at June 1944, no one suggestead global warming then or that real bad winter during the late 40s.
Diesel fuel once cost less than petrol but the demand has made the goverment think thay can make money from its popularity(it's still cheaper than Petrol in France).
Recycling, is another thing, we do need to stop the land fill but not to the extent of being so picky as to seperate everything, this just saves the recycling people money, they have the ability and man power to sort it themselves.
Its a goverment con

Unfortunately, the global warming debate has become a debate about who or what is responsible; pollution or nature. It does not matter. I am an environmental scientist, and I will tell you, it's here. And it does not matter how it got here because it is not going to go away.
It has progressed now to where the world must reclaim its climatic balance. And it will do so. Things may get a little uncomfortable or they may really slam down on us. But with glaciers heading for New Zealand, it's happening. And at this point, I and many others, do not believe it can be stopped or slowed. Did you know that the topic of Global warming has been a political issue since 1930?

Global warming, global cooling, climate change are all natural events.
It becomes complicated when people believe that humans can actually control these things. Most people see that as the height of all arrogance, that us tiny little beings can affect this enormous planet.
Heck, we can't even predict when it's going to rain and we have centuries of weather info.
You're opening yourself up to a myriad of people claiming to be scientists who believe humans cause global warming, but real scientists don't believe a consensus.

I am neither a member of Greenpeace, nor have I ever hugged a tree, but it sounds like you have a problem with Greenpeace and trees. And since you are now in the minority (see link below) you might want to come up with a better line than "Who thinks Global Warming is absolute made-up rubbish", because now you have to be even more convincing to win people over to your ideas.
BTW, I happen to like trees and being friendly to the environment the trees, and mankind must live in.

No and Yes
No, it does seem that there is a warming cycle at the moment.
Yes, it may NOT be the result of man-made CO2 - hard evidence is thin on the ground, and funding favours research that will justify politicians taxing fuel ever higher. Bad science producing the paid-for answer.

Yes, I do!
Who is to say that what is happening at the moment is not meant to be happening. It could just be the natural cycle of our world as we know it. Maybe another ice age is on its way!

NO. p.s. do you know any science? And I am not a tree hugger, and not a tree basher either. No one needs to go much further in answering this question since you have already layed out your opinion on it with your little comment on tree huggers.

Yes it most certainly does. I personally think that you are prejudiced, against us tree huggers (yes I am one). Why not long-winded answers, is your mind so fixed on the false reality that you don't want to waste your precious time listening to the truth???!!! Greenpeace is trying to make a difference in this sad, dying world. I for one would not be surprised if you were driving some gas guzzling car, and littering. Learn a little.

I do believe most of the Global Warming is our fault. I mean, where I'm from, the temp was up in the 70s and that was last month. It was never that worm this time of year when I was a kid... In fact, we would have snow.. If we don't change, our planet will be in danger...
