Yes, high glucose levels can cause lots of havoc in your bod and especially with the brain!! High glucose levels cause anxiety, depression, anger, lots of things.

If you or someone you know has untreated, uncontrolled high glucose levels, find a doctor you can get in to see as soon as possible.

Do you value your toes? fingers? eyesight? get the sugar levels down toward normal.

well i too am wanting to know the answer to this question. My grandmother is 70 yrs old and she will not take her medication for diabetes or her insulin and she is very very anxious, so much so that she is on 2 medications and she is severly depressed and talks about dieing quite a bit. I have never thought about it but i wonder if it does have something to do with her diabetes??? Good question!

Well- If you know you are sick and are not treating it, that is plenty of reason to be anxious. Also, your blood sugar levels will be out of whack. And for me, that makes me turn into an emotional basket case.

It's not outside the realm of possibility.
