How contagious is syphilis?

Is it possible to get syphilis through oral sex with somebody who has never had any sexual contact with another person?

It's always possible, but HIGHLY unlikely. If a person has never had sex or any kind of sexual contact, then it's VERY unlikely they have syphilis.

If you are concerned you have syphilis or another STD, then get tested by your doctor. Syphilis can be easily tested by a blood test and/or by a physical examination if there are sores present. Take care!
