Kaffir lime leaves are often use in Thai cooking, but I'm having a hard time finding it. Anyone knows of a market that carries it? Either fresh or frozen. Thanks

I only know San Francisco, but occasionally the Whole Foods stores (either on California or Howard) stock fresh kaffir lime leaves. However, the best place in the City to get them is the Thai market in the Tenderloin:

You know most any tree can be grown in California espicially the bay area.
I would go visit a nursery and ask them so you can idenitfy it then if you see a tree stop and ask to harvest a small amount.

Maybe you can call and check Whole Foods or Trader Joes? I dont live there anymore, just wanted to be helpful.
