My Ps2's controller port 1 is broken. I believe it happened when inserting a controller. one of the 3 little metal things in the top of the controller port came loose (the leftmost one). Normally it seems to be in a V shape but now its in more of a > shape if you know what I mean. It looks like all I need to do it just push it back up but it doesn't want to budge and a needle doesn't really do the job anyway since its not curved on the end. Has anyone had this happen to them or have any suggestions?

I would assume my warranty has expired. Is it indefinite? I got the PS2 a long time ago...

also just to clarify its the port on the PS2 that has something wrong with it not the controller.

I may be wrong but I belive that you have a warranty for that so you might wanna phone up Playstation and see it they can do anything, if not then it seems like its broken and your gonna have to get a new one. Also it couldnt hurt to maybe take the controller into a store like bestbuy or something and c iif they can help you.
