Part A is hospitalization. It pays 80% of the bill. The social worker at the hospital will help with the application for Medicaid (Medi-Cal in California) to pay the other 20% of the hospital bill as well as his Part B premiums and medications.
If he has less than $2000 in assets (except his house and car), he will qualify.
Get him to the ER NOW; CHF is deadly if not treated right away.

If they go to the hospital there is a compassionate care program there after they have been seen they fill out the paper work and they can get everything "written off" by the hospital and they won't be charge...most places also have community health clinics that are based on a "SLIDING SCALE" so if you have no income or very littel that is what they base your bill off of....there are alot of options hope they will listen to u an go.
