when did they make it a law to recycle?

The City of Brooklyn Park and the "Hennepin Recycling Group" cities of Crystal, New Hope and Brooklyn Center have entered into a joint powers agreement for administration of the recycling and waste materials management programs for all four cities.
It is the responsibility of each municipality to ensure that the public health and welfare of the community is maintained. By local ordinance and State law, every household, agency, business and facility must have, at a minimum, weekly collection of garbage and refuse from their premises, or provide the city with verifiable proof of an alternative legal disposal practice or waste management program, which must be approved by the city. It is illegal for any individual, company or organization to place garbage or refuse in or on any public or private property without the expressed consent of the public agency or property owner. Proof of such action, known as "illegal dumping", can result in prosecution and fines.

Bcoz, if the gov says "pls Recycle", ppl take it 4 granted... No one(if not most) gives a s*** bout recyclin n stuff...I don't know why the hack are these ppl still around in this mother Earth. So when u make smthin as a rule at least ppl tend to do it just for the sake of it. So the verdict is by hook or by crook...And my last say is PLEASE RECYCLE!!!
Dear mankind, if its not u who recycle, are u expecting the animals to do so and save the world from apocalypse? Yes im sure apocalypse is in Human's hand, whether u want it to happen or not, is in ur hand. Adios.

Not where i live they don't . All our garbage goes in one can. No need to separate anything. I know some city's you have to separate everything but your just doing the garbage mans job for free and he,s making a mint off of it

They made it so we can not have too many garbage to stink the earth. If there's so many garbage in the earth. Then everything will stink to death and cause Siriusly and dangerously damage to the ozone layer.
