St. Ives. They are very animal friendly, and they are readily available in the average grocery store. I'm not 100% sure on Aussie brand, but I *think* they are, too.

I've been shopping at natural food stores for groceries, and was concerned that buying personal care products there would be too costly. It wasn't. And the difference is amazing. I will never go back to the crap I used to use on my hair. If you have a health food store near you, or even a short drive, it'll be well worth it to check out what they have on the shelves. Or you can investigate on line. WalMart is starting to sell the Tom's of Maine line, which is preferable over Dove, but there are a lot of organic products out there.

Aussie is really good. Personally I love Paul Mitchell and they sell it at a few salons. Also, Nexxus came out with an organic shampoo and conditioner that doesn't test on animals and works wonders for your hair. The Queen Helen brands are also good. They are found in the ethnic hair section.

I always buy the Equate brand when at wal-mart. Almay, Physician's Formula, and Revlon don't test, but they're makeup companies. John Paul Mitchell makes shampoo/conditioner and doesn't test.

Awww, bunnies have the right to lustrous, silky hair too.

Just kidding. Read the back label.
