I have gone to the doctor because I am short a breath when I am doing nothing like when I am siting down I am short of breath..

They put me on machines and took X-Rays at the doctors and in the E.R.


And they both said I am fine



Could this be a serious problem???

Can you ask them about possible reflux, or at least to give you some breathing exercises? I think they brushed you off too quick. I had a boyfriend in college who suffered from this for a very long time. 30 years later he now understands it was reflux, but back then he was told that his discomfort was not real.

Don't just trust the ER. They are in too big of a hurry, unless you are a major needy person. I have experience that a lot.

Please visit your Dr. You need more tests, get the results from the hospital and take them with you.
There could be several reasons for shortness of breath, my first concern would be my heart, probably just respiratory, but make sure what it is. We don't want it to get really severe.

Are you over weight? IF so when you sit down the extra pounds could be restricting your breathing
