125 on a consistent basis would be diagnosed as pre-hypertension, it is a warning. You need to change something in your lifestyle to bring that blood pressure down before it gets worse.

No, systolic is the top number and indicates the pressure in your vessels while the heart is pumping. Diastolic is when the heart is at rest and if the numbers are that high, then you would need to worry. An average good pressure is 120/80. But that is not the norm for everyone. That is just an average, some are lower, some are higher. And besides, the bottom number can't be higher than the top number. You always take the first sound (reading) and that indicates the systolic, when the beat disappears that is diastolic. So 120/125 is impossible.

No. The reason that it is 125 is because you are worried!!. There is so much variation in the systolic pressure with stress etc, that 5 extra point aren't a concern.

no stay easy, thats all normal....but watch out for your diastolic it must be around 90 - 95 mm of Hg....
