Do you think soldiers lack democratic rights? In other words, are they chickens no matter how strong they seem?

If you don't wanna hear a soldier being called a chicken, that's your problem, not mine... I will write whatever I want to write. What can you do? Nothing.

The percentage that support USA policy is substantially higher then the USA populace in general. This is probably because of the nature of their job; they have a better rounded understanding of international relations then the average USA citizen does.

Not all troops support the position they are put in, but they volunteer to be a part of the military so that your sorry **** isn't conscripted. I would bet money that any soldier could do your job. Funny you didn't mention what it is you do. Probably unemployed if you have time to sit around and think up this nonsense. Before you know the troops, sit down and think about what your life would be like if you you and your family were conscripted and you had to go to a war you didn't agree with. What would you do? be grateful that these men and women put themselves and their lives on the line for your sorry **** and so that you are able to sit at a computer and have the right to post such stupid questions and statements. Imagine if you lived in a country where you couldn't do that, couldn't have access to the internet. Be thankful you live in a country which allows you free speech thanks to the military.

Are you high? What the F@#k does chicken mean when referring to a soldier. Soldier: fights for a living, carries a weapons when going to the bathroom. Sleeps with an M16 in his/her bunk. Has to put his life and trust in the fellow soldier next to him and hope they can trust that person. Has to make decisions in a matter of seconds and making this decision could end another life. Watches their friends get killed but cant get emotional because dropping your guard will get YOU killed to.(when in war). When not in war, you train to do all that. How can that be compared to being a chicken? Obviously we have rights you moron. We are Americans too. We just follow a slightly different set of rules. People like you are ruining this country. You make me not want to have kids.

The military is not a democracy. There are no committees and soldiers do not vote whether they will partake of this war or that war. Your use of the word 'chicken' shows your ignorance of how the military works, obviously you've never seen it from the inside and I suspect you are too 'chicken' to find out first hand.
So sit back in your little computer chair and keep telling yourself how smugly superior you are while highly competent soldiers stand their watch protecting your freedom of speech to rant about things to which you have no knowledge.
You are a small minded little man living out a shallow, pointless life; a person that finds his bravado hiding behind a computer screen; a jealous, bitter and boring personality that has to belittle others to feel better about yourself. You are to be pitied.

Calling any soldier a " Chicken " is totally out of line. What does that make non-soldiers....what do you call them, Chicken-Sh-t? Soldiers do what they have to do, they complete their missions and tasks to the best of their ability within whatever situation they encounter. Some die, some get wounded, but none of them are chickens. They are honorable individuals, who deserve our respect! Those who live in this nation, bad-mouthing soldiers while enjoying our freedoms, while military personnel are in harm's way...are what you should be calling no-good Chicken Sh-t....SOB's!!!!

What an idiot you are, when you sign on the dotted line you get your money and you take your chances, and you OBEY ORDERS, your feelings don't come into it, leave the democracy drivel to the people who think they have it and leave the soldering to those who are soldiers, they do not need any of this puerile drivel about chickens, if you want to take the average soldiers place on the firing step he will be only to glad to change places with you, then start talking about chickens and democracy when the rounds start to come your way, in all probability you would crap yourself. Once you start shooting your mouth off about democratic rights you are in serious trouble regardless of which army you are in, to all intent it is called mutiny and that will lead to a very swift and disagreeable end, especially when you are up the line. So good advice is to drop the subject unless you are deliberately trying to cause dissent within the troops MESSAGE TO CORPSMAN, FRANCE ! what has this turd got to do with France, dont insult us you piece of crap, you just stick to being an officers groundsheet and leave the soldering to those who know how to do it, pansies indeed, at least we dont go shooting our friends, ignorant *****.

Soldiers are our true heroes. They are sent to do things that cowards like you are afraid to do. They follow orders. They face terrible danger. Then cowards like like you treat them badly.
Do they support the war? Irrelevant. Do they lack democratic rights? No.
You should be grateful for their sacrifices. You sit in your comfy chair crying about things that you are too afraid to try to change. You simply cry and point fingers.
Enlist and find out for yourself how life in uniform is. A 'chicken' can't cope, and wouldn't survive basic training.

Some support their missions others don't.
No, they don't lack democratic rights. Outside the military they have all the rights of any other citizen.
Some are probably chickens, it's inevitable, but most I think are confident in their training, their comrades and themselves.
