You can't help but love it. It'd be slightly funnier if they'd misspelled atheist, as they so often do, but it's still pretty awesome.

So, my question: What's your favorite bit of religious propaganda that warns children against encountering opposing viewpoints?

I found the picture on digg, but one of the posters posted a link to the original website:

Look at it. I nearly shat myself laughing. Yes, that really is chuck norris, and yes, they did say that evolutionists want to kill you. I seriously haven't laughed this hard in months.

My cheeks hurt.

And don't forget to check out the creepy paint drawings made to look like they were done by kids. Especially the third one where jesus somehow sets Mr Gruff on fire.

Yep, it's definitely the christians who are persecuted.

It's starting to become less funny. Like this one, where they talk about the expedition to find live dinosaurs. Make sure you look at the photographic proof at the end. It's just creepy now.

The Chick Tracts are probably the most hilarious/potentially dangerous pieces of propaganda out there.

That's why I'm glad I found the Chick Tract Parody site...

EDIT: The originating site for that poster is hilarious!!! Between the 'militant atheist' rant (amazingly spelled correctly), the christian video game reviews, and the Mr. Gruff action figure, this is literally one of the funniest sites I've seen in awhile!

HOLY SH!T...they even have a 'make it yourself' Crucifixion nail...this is priceless...

Well, as a cub scout leader a while back, I was told not to tell the kids about how the Kettles and Moraines were formed after the glaciers melted 12,000 years ago. Apparently a parent (bad juxtaposition of words there), believed the world was created in 4004 BC and didn't want views other than Christian views taught to her son. I understood and stopped.

Wow! I'm not amused by that - not in the least - it is the same tactics used during WWII by Hitler Youth programs, and used here in the U.S. during the McCarthy era and The Red Scare."

The same tactic is currently being used by schools in their anti drug training, and even when children visit the doctor, some doctors are asking questions that have no relation to why the child is there, basically to get kids to inadvertantly rat out the parents...

That kind of crap I find very scary- and indicative of worse to come.

I dislike people who scream persecution all the time, but this just smacks of it...

That site is a hoot. Some of the pictures are hilarious.

Oh I love how half way down it says "FREE KENT HOVIND! - Secularists have imprisoned Kent Hovind. Creation Science is not a crime!" I guess they missed the fact that he was in for tax evasion.

As for the "Evolutionists want to murder you! You're only an animal to them." link, that's just BS and abuse of semantics. Whoever believes this sh*t really does need a lobotomy.

Holy misconceptions, Batman! I thought the chick tracts were bad, but this one is over the top. I'd share propaganda but I like sleeping in on Sundays and avoiding being called a old goat.

It looks to me that posting a link to that site is propaganda. This does not depict Christianity in the least bit. No comparing, therefore no contrasting. No further comment, and really it wasn't that amusing. It was more like a offbeat ad for anti-pedophiles than religion.
