well people can get pretty cranky when they dont get "some", but if you have love and TRUST, then your okay. trust is the single most important thing in a relationship, heck in the whole world! if you dont have trust then there is no point

No, not at all! Sex is something that will either make or break a relationship, i know this sounds like a school teacher's advise or soemthing but sex will only feel right when you are both comfortable in the relationship and your both ready for it. Just jumping into the sack with someone you care about will change the relationship for the worse. When people think that sex is the pinicle of a relationship the relationship is obviously in jepordy. Conversation is in my opinion the basis of a good relationship. If you have a good connection and can build on it, then it is the perfect relationship in my eyes.

It's a big part of it, for me anyway. But it's not thee most single important part of a relationship.
I love having sex but some people's sex drive don't match, so when you're humping away the girl might fake it, just to keep you happy but if two people are trully in love this will never happen.

Sex is the most excieting part of a relationship at the start but after a few years it all comes down to how deep your feelings are for each other.
Does that make sense to you ?

There are other things that may be taken into consideration, like trust, understanding, caring, etc., but I do believe, that if there is no sex, or very little and poor sex, it can be the cause of a relationship breakup.

So I would say its quite important, but not the most important.

Sex is only a part of a solid relationship. It plays a vital role, however, in any lasting relationship it is never the most important thing. The most important (in my eye) thing is the love you and your partner have for one another. Loving partners have sex as a way to share that love with each other. Sex in a mature adult relationship has deep psychological dynamics and goes well beyond the physical act itself. I can say that relationships based soley on sex usually end up....well they end.

If you're in a relationship that has it's only basis in sex, then yes it is the most important thing. If you're in a relationship that's based on love, trust and mutual interests, then sex pales in comparison to the rest.

Sex is the glue that keeps a couple together, so I think it is the most important as it is the only thing in a relationship that is unique and special to you both.

Definitely not, except may be for men!

Women need honesty, trust and understanding, as well as love in a relationship, sex is important but not as much as everything else

it is definitely one of most important things! when i was with my ex we had a active sex life but then suddenly it wasnt so active, from then onwards everything went wrong we split couple months later! im not saying it was due to the lack of sex but it certainly was a factor. think the intimacy wasnt there and it helped drift us apart! it also depends on how much sex u r use to getting if u go from lots to none then that could be very difficult.

its a very important part of a relationship, as it should be when you feel closest to your partner, but at the same time, you should be able to go without it. if you can last a week or so without sex, and still feel close and bonded with that person then you have to be onto a good thing.

Sex IS VERY important, but not the MOST important. Without love, a relationship is pointless.
