I live in the boonies and guess I need seed. There are NO stores in the area that carry bitter melon. I can't find ANY seed on line. I have a green house and could grow it, even in winter.

Bitter Melon is very common in Chinese Grocery stores or other Asian grocery stores. Depending upon where you live, it can even be found in regular supermarkets.

Also, if you want to grow your own, seeds are readily available.

If you live near a Ranch 99 market, they sell it there.

ALL of the Indian grocery stores carry it. It's called KARELA.

Just check the ones in your area and ask if they have it.

Try your local Asian grocer or fruit grocers in Hawaii. Also contact New Sagaya, an Asian/American chain that can order exotic produce.
