I first had the surgery in April and again in August. Is there any medication I can take. The laser surgery is very expensive and I can't keep affording this treatement. I know there is no cure, but is anyone had any successful treatment? Has anyone over the age 26 received the vaccine? I am over 30 but would still like to received the vaccine for "cancer purposes". Based on my dr. I have am Low Risk HPV and have the strains that cause warts not cancer, but I am still concerned and scared! I had other STD test performed and they all were negative. I know the immune system suppresses the disease, but what should I be doing because I now have the warts for the 3rd time! Please note, my ob/gyn removed the warts. I know found out a dermatologist can removed them so I made an appoint next week. Please only serious responses because I am so scared and worried!

Don't be scared. Just keep getting the warts removed. When one comes back, get it removed! Have annual check ups and do not allow yourself to contract further STDS. I am having a problem with this as well. My boyfriend used creams on his warts and they didn't go away and I think they are getting worse. He needs to get them removed ASAP. And so do you. But don't panic, it's not the worse thing in the world!

After the initial breakouts and having them removed they tend to go away. A family practice doctor can even burn them off. The best is to go to a gyn and have them burn off the warts. The doctor has to be very aggressive with them during the initial outbreaks and they should go away . You can use Aldara many people like it. It is a cream that builds immunity to the warts. I didn't like it and it seemed to make it worse, but that's just me. My gyn told me that smokers tend to have worse outbreaks and if the immune system is low then the outbreaks could be worse. That would be HIV or other diseases, more than likely. So you should be ok.

I once had the same problem and I bought a kind of solution from the pharmacy, it has a little brush where you use to apply to the wart over a period of time. Its a sort of acidic. The wart will dry off. The wart if left untreated will normally gets bigger because there is blood supply to it.

I had only removed once and it doesn't come back, i suppose is the immune system and actually the virus will go off by itself. you have to get your pap smear test done before considering the vaccine as if your cervix has already been infected then is useless for you taking the vaccine... there is some kind of cream to apply, check it out with your obs/gyn.
