I seriously don't get why the people in China are so skinny. They look like they weigh less than 100lbs.
I'm chinese and I'm fat, it's not fair and exactly how does that work?!
I mean they eat rice for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I only eat it for dinner. Shouldn't they be the fat ones?
How do they keep so healthy?

Hi there:

I had the same beef so I moved to Asia to see why. Asian diet is very well balanced - they eat a bowl of rice and with that they eat some veggies and meat. They don't eat alot of meat like us "western" people are used to - in all I think it amounts to a handful of meat and a handful of veggies with about a cup of rice. They eat slow - it almost looks like they are snacking and they eat at frequent intervals - but they eat healthy food. They don't eat breads or pastas. They don't eat alot of desserts and alot of sugar. They don't eat candy bars or chocolates or junk food or fast food. Actually I did that for a few weeks and I also lost weight. The only problem is I like my potatoes and fried foods and baked goods too much to give them up. But still eating more of the "Chinese" foods and limiting all the other stuff we eat, should keep you in good shape. And oh yes, in Asia they walk alot and most of their meat is hormone free (veggies also not GMO). Hope this helps.

The people in China consume fewer calories (eating rice and veggies and some meat) and are constantly on the move.

In the US, people tend to consume more calories (more fatty foods) and are less active.

It's very common for immigrant families where the children are chubby. Also, because of better nutrition, the children are generally taller than their immigrant parents.

Eating less, running around more, or having a higher running metabolism.

Healthy and skinny are not the same, though.

Very few people have cars or other automobiles, so they have to walk or bike to places.

Also, meat is eaten in a very small amount, there's usually the same amount or even more veggies than meat.

Well, they're constantly on the move. They're an active country. They use public transportation and it's a rural country so... more physical labor is enforced. That's the gist of it.
