if god did not mean for use to eat animals, then why did he fill them with such great tasting meat?

Orginially he did not. When he created Adam and Eve he placed them in a garden which was landscaped with a wide variety of fruit, which would have been adequate for any perfect human being to be sustained by.The animals were given as a gift, for them to take care of.However when the flood occurred and there was little vegetation e.t.c...God permitted Noah and his family to eat meat...but he specifically forbade the intake of blood, from animal or spillage from human, or the eating of meat that was used in offering to pagan idols.... the animal had to be drained throuoghly first, before being consumed. This was in view of respect for the life God has created, and also for health reasons. You will find the evidence for these in the following sciptures of the hebrew and greek verses....GENESIS 1 V 20 +21....GENESIS 1 V 26 + 28......GENESIS 2 V 5 + 7, 8, 9......GENESIS 2 V 15......GENESIS 2 v 18 + 20.......GENESIS 9 V 2 V 3 - 6......ALSO SEE GENESIS 9 v 4 AND v 16...ACTS 15 V 28 + 29 and 21 V 25....LEVITICUS 7 V 26 + 27...LEVITICUS 19 V 26 and 17 V 6 + 7...i corinthians 10 v 19 - 20.... v 28

eating meat or not, has nothing to do with God. It is a lifestyle that some of us choose to live within. Many vegetarians have health problems and our doctors have told us to cut animal products. Many diets are about health. I know many non vegetarians who are very healthy. Remember, meat was not always so plentiful in the old days and we had to rely on what was available. Too much of a good thing will do you in! Like too much fast food, or alcohol, or sweets. Oh, and what is seitan??

Very good question. If you read Genesis chapter 2 or I think its the 3rd chapter, God's diet for the human race was fruit, vegetables and nuts, herbs, and seeds. God did not intend for us to eat meat, and I dont know who seitan is, Ive heard of Satan, the devil, but I dont think the Bible ever mentions anyone or anything called "seitan".

Do you mean Satan or Seitan the wheat stuff?
Anyway, I'm not religious. God surely doesn't want you to have bad cholesterol.

my theory is that (im being raised in catholic skool so i have to learn about this crap)
Do you really think that God put Adam and Eve down on earth and said "here are trees and patches full of fruites and veg.s. now go and murder a fellow animals and eat it" i mean COME ON!
r u pro-life? thats a yes. do u eat eggs? thats a yes. Than ur not pro-life!
God didn't write the bible a bunch of guys who thought they knew god's word wrote it.
You actually LIKE the taste of blood?!?
If u give a baby and apple and a bunny, do u think it will play with the apple and eat the bunny, or play with the rabbit and eat the apple.

We were meant to eat whatever is local to where we live...meat, fish and veggies. I doubt that Seitan is or was available everywhere humans live. Example, if you live in Alaska, you may not be expected to live off oranges. Fish might be more prominent to the Alaskan diet...per God's design.

Sounds like you like Seitan...enjoy! But remember, everything in moderation.

God didnt CREATE Seitan. He may have created the wheat from which we derive wheat gluten, but MAN created Seitan by processing the gluten.
