This happened a few weeks ago and I mentioned it back then... but I was coming home after riding my bike and it winded me pretty good. I got inside and my chest just -hurt-. I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest. I could barely breathe and my whole jaw hurt, right to my teeth. It lasted for what seemed like forever. I finally just stumbled into the shower and let the water run while I sat on the floor. Once it passed, it felt like I had been hit in the chest with a baseball bat or something. The kicker? I'm 19, one month from 20. But now I feel fine... I just don't take that hill anymore on cold nights.

Am I looking too into this?

I think it would be wise for you to go to a Dr. and have an ECG done. Just because you are young doesn't mean you can't have a heart attack. There can be a lot of things that could bring on the attack and you need to be aware of anything going on in your body. Never assume it's nothing when your life could be at stake. Always better to be safe than sorry.

You should be checked by a doctor. It is not unheard of for a very young person to have a heart attack. It is just unusual.

If it was indeed a heart attack it probably did some damage so the next time could be worse. Get it checked out to relieve your mind if nothing else. Worry can make things worse.

Never to be taken lightly, go to the doctor immediately for a check up, they can determine if you have had a heart attack or on the path to having one. Better safe than sorry.

I don't think you had a heart attack, but I recommend that you get checked because what happened to you is definitely not normal. So better make sure that everything is fine.

see your dr- a quick ecg will tell you if you had a heart attack or not. symptoms of a heart attack are similar to the symptoms of lots of other things and it would sure out you're mind at rest if a painless little test ruled it out.

Sounds like too much cold air being sucked into your chest.

Sounds like your heart was " wound out" and was getting inadaquate oxygen.

I don't think you had a heart attack but you should mention it to your doctor. It's nothing to play with.

PS:

MODERATE! exercise.
