Oh yeah, when you bite into those fish eggs its amaaaaaazing. xD
I havent come across any sushi i didnt like either!
And yeah, I do get frustrated when a persons first reaction of sushi is "Ewe, raw fish". Most people who say that judge it before eating it. How stupid!

I am a super Sushi Nut! The background on my Razor cell phone is sushi...my Myspace has sushi on it....
I love tuna, yellowtail, eel, anything with roe....I'm not a big fan of hand rolls (I find them hard and embarrassing to eat...my mouth isn't that big!!) but nigiri sushi and regular rolls are awesome.
I understand your statement of frustration about people's immediate response "Eww, raw fish". Most people do not understand that the word sushi refers to the type of rice..."Sushi Rice" which has been vinegared. There are lots of types of sushi...Veggie sushi, cooked sushi, I've even seen (and eaten) sushi with cooked beef. They are most certainly NOT all "Raw Fish"
When people think about the raw fish, you are totally correct, they are thinking about sashimi..the delicious, delicate slices of a variety of raw meats, which could include anything from fish to scallops and scallops.
Also, some people have gotten into the habit of mixing their wasabi into their soy sauce to dip their sushi in. In Japan, the wasabi soy sauce is for sashimi, not sushi.
Ok, enough sushi talk....Ooh man...Now I'm hungry...

Oh yeah! I love the one with fish eggs and I love sushi Uge' Sushi and California Roll the one you are talking about is generally called Futomaki it is cod roe and I love the way the eggs pop when you bite them I love sashimi too!

I love it all. I haven't come across any sushi I don't like and I have started making it myself. In fact that is what I will do tomorrow. Sashimi is good too.

I love sushi (Sashimi, too!).
I have eaten sushi that was not prepared well or the ingredients were not all that good.
Go fish eggs, they rock!

I'm not a fan of the Roe sushi's, but I LOVE Toro and maguri.
Tekka Maki and Unagi are also REALLY good.

I eat both sushi and sashimi. All variety suits me fine. Love the taste. Every time I go to Japan i never miss eating both. Best foods to try, Have also eaten raw horse. he he

any time, breakfast, lunch, dinner or midnight snack..... it's all good, always!!!
i've noticed lately that many of the prepared sushi's are covered in sauces and/or drizzled with something nasty???
I prefer it the plain old fashioned way with wasabi, ginger and soy sauce, all on the side...
