Being a vegetarian does not effect your skin one way or the other, it is your general habits. Did you know that potato chips are vegetarian? Eat just those and you will probably see poor skin.
However, making a major diet change - like cutting out meat - can effect your skin, by all means. If you make a clean break from meat, your body will detox from the hormones, etc. and will cleanse itself through ... well ... body orfices. You will see pimples, change in bathroom needs, etc.

I had acne until I went vegetarian. In the nine years since I stopped eating meat my skin has been beautifully clear.

Not that I am aware of.
Some people experience clearer skin when they stop eating meat or animal products.
So I think it may solve more skin problems than it causes.

Not that I ever heard of. Having a lot of fat in the diet causes acne for some people.
