It's already happening..how do you think mad cow diesease, foot and mouth disease,e.coli and salmonella is caused? Sure there was e.coli in our spinach, but that was just a cover up,90% of cases of food poisining is caused by meat,do you think that is just a coincidence?
You do know that heart disease is the #1 killer in the US right? You meaties are killing yourselves. We're silently winning the war and you don't even know there is a war going on...

Wouldn't happen.
See, most people in the world do not eat very much meat at all. See, in North America we live in our own little world which is different from the rest of the world -- haven't you noticed?? See, meat is a condiment, not a meal. Only in a few places in the world do people eat a plate of meat and little else. My wife comes from a wealthy family in China. They could eat whatever they wanted and that's what they did. But one piece of meat would last the family of 5 at least a week. See, her mother knows how to cook very very well, and they all know that vegetables taste fantastic. Not only that, but there are endless varieties and combinations. They would eat a 7 course meal at every dinner and would see the same food perhaps every year or so. Literally they would eat different things every day and never get back around to the same thing again for over a year. But, the typical American and Canadian eat the same crap all the time -- over an over and over -- never knowing good food -- never having a 'real' meal. They don't even know how to cook properly, meat nor vegetable. Try asking some 'foreigners' and they'll tell you just how disgusting the food in N. America is (the white people food that is).
See, for my wifes family, just eating meat for dinner would be like an American just eating Ketchup for dinner. That is, just eating the condiment/topping.

The question you pose is pretty ridiculous considering most people who are vegetarians are so because they respect all animals, humans especially. There are crazy fundamentalists in every religion and belief system and probably a handful of vegetarians want to brawl. For the most part we just want things to suffer a little less. I think vegetarians are probably the least of any social group to be worried about.

first of all it's genetics that will play the major role. but i found as a vegan i've outlived everyone on my mother's side where i developed the same chronic condition that killed them. doctors praised my vegan lifestyle and all that blah blah... but i still have to take medications and maintain my healthy diet. and regiment, never forget that. but genetics are at play.... but eating healthy doesn't hurt. :D my problem also is... i'm allergic to animal fats... found that out the hard when when i was a toddler... so my parents through my doctors orders put me on a vegetarian diet... it helped considerably. i became vegan years and years later after finding out that i still had problems with some processed vegetarian foods.. seeing how most processed foods are jam packed with animal element.

If vegetarian take animal slaughter as murder any attempt to kill a human would be slaughter as well. So in theory they would have double standards, in any case if they did you could label it an unethical war by there standards.

personally, my "war" is not against other meat-eaters. we are all just human beings trying to live our lives the best way we know how. i'm not here to start drama with anyone about how they should live or how they should eat.
my "war" is with corporations, specifically the beef, egg, poultry, and milk & cheese industries, that purposely lie and deceive consumers so they can make a buck. i do not support an industry that does not care for the health and well-being of its consumers. i refuse to support an industry that has "brainwashing" and "lying to" on their "things to do" list. they're strictly selling their merchandise and are in it for profits.

If there was a war, Do you actually think a vegan can handle seeing a little blood. SOme of us meat eaters Hunt/ The only advantage is that Peta might send out naked girls to distract us and I was told Tofu makes guys unusually violent.
Edit:>>>>
Actually it's kind of mean to put this on the Vegan section.
So I appologize for taking part of this.

Sounds like a very bad science fiction novel. Too bad Ed Wood isn't alive anymore; he could direct the movie.
Now I've heard everything about tofu; it is made with animal fat, it makes men gay and it also makes them violent. That's ridiculous. We could have exploding tofu in the movie.

Bring it on, with 90% of us being meat eaters, the vegetarians will fall faster than France. Not to mention how they're all weak and sickly from the lack of vitamin B12!
