You are a lacto vegetarian. You can eat eggs. This is a good source of protein.

Milk is an animal byproduct. Why drink it? Human beings are the only animals on the planet who drink milk from another animal. If you stick with vegetables, fruits, organic fruit juices, pure bottled water and walking you will stay healthier and younger looking longer than almost everyone around you for far longer. Do this forever. If you don't eat eggs or drink milk then you can be considered a true vegetarian. Eggs are also high in cholesterol. Milk contains so many chemicals because of the way it is collected, that it really isn't milk anymore. Soy milk is good if you must drink milk. Try it.

I don't know about vegitarian, but it sounds like you are a lacto-vegetarian. Just watch out for rennet in cheese. You might want to check out soy cheese. Many have casein (a milk protein), but since you're not vegan, that should be okay for you.

Sadly, milk does cause death for animals, as the sons of dairy cows end up as veal calves. And the dairy cows become hamburger when their production declines.

If you also avoid slaughterhouse products then yes..you are. However..if you eat gelatin, animal rennet in cheese and other products obtained from a dead animal...then I would say you are not a vegetarian...but well on your way.

Wish you good luck. You are on right path. Those who say milk is not vegitarian food are there to mislead you. Their opinions are biased and therefore better ignore them.

Yes sure, remember to exclude fish, poultry and slaughter by-products as well.

You can often find meaty products in all sorts of prcessed foods so keep checking those labels.

Hi, Being a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian is all in our mind. We as humans are dependent on the nature for survival. Food, air and more essential things for the man are in nature. And man has to depend on the nature. Lets say, that you eat vegetables. There are lots of vegetables that are grown under ground. They are also called root vegetables. Radish is a good example. So, when you are gonna take Radish for consumption, you need to uproot the entire vegetable plant because the vegetable is in the root. In this case, we can also say that we are leading a living thing to death. Plants are living beings. Thats known to everybody. So, that technically means that we kill a plant for every root vegetable we consume.

So, its not possible for human kind to consume food without utilising the resources of nature. Everyone kills something for something. So, I would say that its all in the mind. So, you dont worry.

PS: If GOD had intended us not to eat non-vegetarian foods, he would have given us herbivorous teeth and not omnivoruous. GOD wants us to have a balance of both. He has created us with omnivrourous teeth.

Hope I clarified :)
