i know i am not having a panic attack and this just happened suddenly. i am attempting to take the deepest breaths possible but i still feel like i cant breath. ive been feeling this for a couple of hrs and i dont know what is going on. should i go to a hospital? help!

i am not asthmatic. i have never had this problem. i recently had and ekg and a gosh i forgot whats its called its like a heart xray and everything was fine. the reason i had those done is bc i was going to get a gastric bypass.

if i am not mistaken, it's what they call, heart burn wherein you experience like having a heart attack which a shortness breath when in fact you are not. it is a situation where you stomach releases some kind of an acid that reaches in to your esophagus. whatever it is, you have to consult your doctor before anything would happen to you.

Considering the time of year, could be athsma. Go to the hospital anyway!

Get to the e.r. now. On the good side, if you drink diet pop, that gives the same symptoms. Take care of yourself.
