great seeker, If you had the power of the Holy Ghost as you say.You would not be calling the Word of God just a book.You are a false prophet and know not my Lord, nor His precious Holy Spirit, nor His Son Jesus.

CAVEMAN: We also need to find a balance in our lifes.I call it as many do "the middle of the road".We need to realize how unworthy we are, and how worthy He has made us.

I wish it would, but honestly, I have flesh problems. I'd say that about 30% of the time it is all about Him, and 70% it's all about me. I battle with fealing unworthy, and I really don't know what to do. I know that He made me worthy, and that I do not have to rely on my own, but it hasn't really sunk in yet, and I've been at this for 32 years.
I think that a lot of people don't realize how little they have actually given to The Lord. Some will say that they gave Him their all, then they haven't even given 10%. I think that we need to realize our lack before we can grow.

I always so appreciate how you think, and I fully agree with you.
The Bible is not just another good book. IT is the word of God, given to us to help us become what He wants us to be, to take us to our full place with His and arrive at the destination HE calls us too. Every answer to every problem lies with the pages of the Holy Bible. So few will respond to the calls of God tho, to love even, let alone to obey God.
If we dont open our heart to the truth, all we have are lies of the devil to live on, and we will surely be destroyed.
we are to worship God and GOd alone, no other gods. the others claiming to be gods, are only false gods. wont even use the large G to describe them. Only the God of the Holy Bible gets the BIG G, ..... THere is only one God and one true religion, and God tells us all about it. ITs God that has given us the Holy Bible with the full teachings of JEsus Christ. There is no other way, and no other God.
God doesnt even want us to have statues of heavenly things, as ppl tend to worship them and make them of such huge importance, that they look up to them even more than God sometimes, making the idol a god, even when they dont realize it.
The word of God is alive and speaks to our minds and hearts, IF ONLY WE WILL HEAR IT< TRULY LISTEN AND THEN DO WHAT GOD COMMANDS US TO DO

Hearts can only be opened to the truth by the Holy Spirit and the owner of the heart:
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Oh Boy, do I feel sorry for soo many people out there whom responded to your question well, before I did. These people are really lost. Some of them dont even know what the heck they are saying, an they sound ridiculous. And of course, you have several that just dont want to believe at all. They will feel
humiliated when their dying day comes, and they see the spiritual world in the only one true way its meant to be seen.
I truly feel sorry for some of you folks out there, because you're really a lost soul believing in something else other than GOD. BOOOOOOOOOO to all that dont believe in HIM.
