I challenge any man who is not a Latter-day Saint to discuss with me a principle of the Gospel in which he thinks he knows more about than the Latter-day Saints do.

And let me illustrate something for all you rubberneck Christians: A principle of the Gospel is teaching that directly affects your personal salvation. An allegation is not a principle, and I suggest to all you Christians out there, that you cannot provide even ONE principle of the Gospel to me that I don't know better than you do.

See, not one of you so far has come to me with an actual principle of the Gospel. You're either stating an opinion, or you're using translation of scripture to support allegation.

Bring on the principles, rubber necks! I'm looking for someone to actually challenge my religious beliefs, here.

In the end, I know that this exercise is going to prove only one thing: That all those who will respond to me think they know something, but when it comes right down to it, you don't even know how to discuss a principle of the Gospel.

What does it matter how conceited I sound? If my principles are correct, and live by them, nothing that is thought of me matters.

The caravan moves on! The caravan moves on!

ALOHA SPIRIT: Grace? Tell me about it, since you apparently know more about it than LDS do. Either that or take your rubber neck somewhere else! If you can't walk the walk, why even try to talk the talk?

This is not about scriptural interpretation! Just give one simple principle! That's all. Just one!

One stinking principle is all I ask. Not a comparison of scriptural interpretation. Give me a principle that LDS don't know more of than any people on the planet!

It's almost like the Energizer Bunny. When the Christians stop short, the LDS just keep going, and going, and going, and...

The doctrines of the Christians are so incomplete, it's pathetic. And so far, just as I thought, not one of you sorry religionists can deliver what I want: Just one principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Well, pink9463 has pretty much epitomized my whole point about the rubber-neck Christians. Could she/he have possibly offered me any dialog on PRINCIPLES? Of course not. She had to spew forth opinion and allegation based on someone's private interpretation of scripture.

And what kind of crass dialog like that actually profits anyone? No kind.

It truly goes to show how shallow the beliefs are among the Christians, and just one more time strengthens my testimony in the doctrines of the Latter-day Saints, who can easily back a Christian into their little corners, by simply asking them to EXPLAIN their own beliefs! HA! (I've seen it time and time again)

So what good is a Christian's beliefs, if he/she can't sustain and defend them? When he/she can't even DEFINE them???

It is absolutely PATHETIC!

It has taken the world a very long time to work it's way to where we are today. We have pedifiles accusing the children under 2 years old of "flirting with them." We have the con artist claiming that the victom "Allowed them to do it." We have murderers claiming that our sociaty is at fault for their actions. We cheat on our taxes and blame the government. We cheat on our wives and then divorce them because they didn't "make us happy" or "put out" enough. The children are damaged for the rest of their lives and we each blame the other spouse. It's always someone elses fault. Charles Manson thought he was going to save America by sending his family to slaughter some rich white folk and blame it on black people. Even after all of this we are still living in a country that has been divinely and patiently protected for over 200 years. We take GOD out of everything we can, so we will not be reminded that we may be responsible for our own actions. And then when GOD reminds us that we are very fragile by allowing a few idiots to fly 2 air planes into the World Trade center we ask. "Where was GOD in all this?" Add a hurricane and all the people say. "Where is your loving GOD now?" If everyone got justice for their own actions there would be less then a handfull of people left in North America. If we would look past our own nose for more then one second we would see that we are by nature, selfish, wretched, and pure evil and not only that, but we refuse to accept responsibility for our actions and the damage we cause to others; we will start to see raw truth. Then for GOD to provide a way out for each of us personally is more then "good news" It is unbelieveable grace. I know if I had been caught for every crime I commited I would be in prison for the rest of my life if the sentices ran back to back. Hell would be a light sentence for every time I cursed this life and it's creator which itself is a wonderful gift. That is the Good News.

Well, aren't we full of ourself? Just your attitude shows what type of love your church teaches.

You sure about what you say? I know for a fact that your church worships a false Christ. I know that your church does not believe that Christ is God in the flesh, even though the scriptures John 1:1 ; John 1:14 ; John 10:30 ; and 1 John 5:7, among others, prove that He was God in the flesh.

Oh, yeah, but that's right - in your church, the doctrine of Joseph Smith is more correct than the Bible.

I'd say that worshipping a false Christ and following a false prophet pretty much affects your personal salvation.

EDIT: This is not interpretation. The scriptures that I quote prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that you are wrong. They do not need interpretation. They are clear in what they say. It is like interpreting a child asking for a glass of water.
You follow false doctrine that WILL affect your personal salvation. You believe the lies of a charlatan that WILL affect your personal salvation.
Besides the church-related doctrine problems that you have, you have even more obvious problems that WILL affect your personal salvation.
1.) You do not have the love of Christ in your heart. The way you speak to your supposed Christian brothers and sisters clearly shows that. Without the love of Christ, you have nothing.
2.) Like the catholics, you praise your church. I do not hear you lifting the name of Christ in praise, but only your precious church. Glorify God. Glorify Christ. Do not glorify your church.
3.) Most importantly, you will be judged for what is in your heart. You will also have to account for every idle word from your mouth.
Find Christ, man !! Do not waste your time arguing with those that follow Christ, but rather seek Christ yourself! It is only through Him that you will have salvation ! Not through your church.
May God help you, and the truth find you before the end does.

Get off your high horse and stop embarrasing yourself (not to mention giving credance to the notion LdS can't think).

I think one gospel principle that many LdS don't grasp is grace. For example the verse which says we are saved through grace after all we can do. Everyone falls short and must rely on the goodness of Christ to save us from sin.

Maybe atom does have a BIT of an attitude, but it's quite understandable, since he's not getting the answers he wants.

Atom, the reason they don't is because they know that you are going to make sense to them and they don't WANT anything we believe to make sense. It's teh only way they can justify staying in their comfort zone and not finding the truth.

I think you are here to see what the truth is. You know LDS are off. You have doubts about inheriting your own planet when you die. You have doubts about the false proficies given and NEVER came true. Noone is the mouth of God, you follow false prophits and are taught to believe and sing about them. (Follow the Prophet) Read you BIBLE., GOd's first words and only words to us. He does not change His mind, He is Perfect. It is sad how easy it is to brainwash children and have them grow up to be like you and belive nonsense. OH, and Joseph Smith won't be there when you die, he is nothing. No handshakes, no funny undergarments with symbols and no 3 heavens. The Bible says nothing of these therefore it is not true.

Dear, dear. We're being a bit confrontational. What I know that you do not is that the book of Mormon is not of God, Joseph Smith is not a prophet of God, and the church of Mormon teaches false doctrine.

I wouldn't say I know "more" than you. However, I do know some things that are extremely important.....and that is, if you are a follower of Mormon doctrine, you are following a Jesus that is not the Jesus of the bible.

P.S. Most Mormons I know are very nice and considerate people. You surely don't fit that description.

LDS are believers of a new age religion that believes they are to be gods their selves. The bible does not support the idea that man is God or that he will ever become a god. In the bible God says “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.” (Isaiah 43:10) While the new age declares that God is in everyone and in everything, the bible says repeatedly that God is Holy. The word Holy mean separate, in other words while God created everything He is separate from His creation. The apostle Paul warned that in the last days: “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12) While the new age teaches self reliance, Jesus said: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5) In the bible God says: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.” (Psalms 32:8) He says: “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3) The idea of man being as God or being a god started in the garden of Eden when Satan told Eve that if she eats the fruit she would be like God; having knowledge of good and evil, down through history people have promoted this idea, and made up their own beliefs in agreement with this lie from Satan; Jesus said in Matthew 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, I am Christ, and will deceive many. Part of this idea of them being gods comes from what Jesus said in John 10:30-38 I and the Father are one! Then the Jews took up stones again to stone Him. Jesus answered them, I have shown you many good works from My Father; for which of these do you stone Me? The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because you, being a man, make yourself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your Law, "I said, You are gods?" If He called those gods with whom the Word of God was, and the Scripture cannot be broken, do you say of Him whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world, You blaspheme, because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me. But if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works so that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him. See Jesus was using what was wrote in their laws to defend His self, in Psalms 82 David refers to the unjust judges as gods, because they have made their selves into gods by ruling not according to what God teaches, but according to their ways. Jesus just used what was written in the Old Testament against them, but He didn’t compare his self to those judges, yet their title of “god” nullifies the “Law” under which the scribes and Pharisees sought to prosecute Jesus. However many people have been deceived by Satan when reading these scriptures, because just as Paul said “they did not receive the love of the truth,” instead they find pleasure in unrighteousness. †
