3TBLSPNS RED WINE VINEGAR
3TBLSPNS OLIVE OIL
1/2 CAN CHICKEN STOCK
1TEASP.SALT

1 POUND FRESH GREEN BEANS
1 SPRIG SUMMER SAVORY[OR DRIED]
COMBINE VINEGAR OIL CHICKEN STOCK SALT FEW GRINDS OF FRESH PEPPER. BEAT VIGOROUSLY STIR IN DILL AND PARSLEY. SET ASIDE.

TRIM THE ENDS OF THE GREEN BEANS AND CUT THEM INTO 2 INCH LENGTHS DROP THEM INTO 2 QUARTS OF BOILING WATER THEN LOWER THE HEAT AND BOIL THE BEANS UNCOVERED FOR 15 MINS.
DRAIN THEM AND RUN COLD WATER OVER THEM TO KEEP THEIR COLOR TRANSFER THEM TO A LARGE BOWL AND POUR THE DRESSING OVER THEM. STIR TO COAT THEM WELL TASTE FOR SEASONING AND CHILL FOR ONE HOUR.

another fav. (dont know the name of it)- regular lettuce (mixed with the carrots and things), -walnuts, -sliced stawberries, -sliced bell peppers (red, green, yellow, &/or orange), -creamy poppy (italian) dressing.
