I have a Beretta silver pigeon II 20 ga and simply love it
it is a quality shotgun
i have shot a Browning citori 20 ga and it is quality shotgun as well

if i looked at the right Browning it lists for a little over a grand less than a Beretta silver pigeon IV

having said that it boils down to do you want a browning or a Beretta
if money is a concern then i would buy the citori

I've tried a Citori once. It feels pretty special in your hands. You can just tell by holding it that some serious quality work was put into making that firearm. I can't say I've had a chance to get my hands on a Beretta like that, though. My best advice is to try and find a local shop, or maybe people at a local club who both have them, and see which one feels 'right' to you, and which one fits you better. That's the best way to decide on something like that.

They are both high end quality shotguns..You haven't advised what you intend to use it for, and that in itself would be the determining factor as to which is best/better based on your personal needs.. Do you intend to Hunt? Shoot Trap or Skeet? Both have advantages and disadvantages.....

I prefer Ithaca myself.* Take a look at them before buying.*
