Im 16, and although i've been asked out by some amazing guys (and some not-so-amazing guys) i've always turned them down. I'm waiting for my knight in shining armour... and i'm not wasteing my precious time on relationships that are immature (if u get what i mean)... I want to save my self emotionally and phisically for my future husband...
Does anyone else feel this way?! Remaining as pure as possible?!

i'm not saying that i write guys off completely, i'm just not ready for a serious relationship so thats why i dont date...
Basically, im not ready to get married, so im not bothering dating. That dosn't mean I dont have fun or anything...

I think you are frightened of growing up and are just using the 'waiting for my knight in shining armour' as an excuse to fend off the boys. It also makes you sound like a challenge to them - a bit of a tease in fact - so you're not as pure as you think you are. You take all their attention but don't give anything back - just a slap-down. If you don't want a one-to-one relationship yet - that's fine - why should you? But don't kid yourself that you are behaving like Mother Theresa because you aren't.

Well I agree with you in a certain sense, but you also might be missing out on some pretty great guys. Just because you date a guy doesn't mean you have to do anything too serious with him. Life is to short to sit around waiting for something or someone that might never come around.

haha u didnt know how gay u sounded with that avatar! ..my night in shining armor.....ok im 15, and turning 16 in about a month. ive been seeing this girl (same age) and we have been going out. im hoping that i could ask her to be my girlfriend a little early. i guess we are in the same boat. but its probably a small one. What are you looking for in your knight of shining armor???
