If you can't understand the question then your thinking about something while your reading it or something is suggesting things to you. Look left!

Mutty - Your answer was 1/2 butted, I wonder what the heck your talking about, you contradicted yourself from the first part to the ending, it was kind of nice to start reading but ended up like a bad stomach flue.

AS salaamu 'alaikym, my friend.
Insha'Allah, we are taught in Islam that Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, Who knows all things, already knows what choices we will make. The choices are an expression of our own free will.
Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, allows us to do what we do so that on the Day of Judgement, we will be aware of what we have chosen (ie.e, Allah, subhanna wa Ta'ala, already knows, but we have yet to learn...) so that when we are rightly judged by Him, we will not be able to deny the correctness of His judgement.
Insha'Allah, we are also taught to put the needs of others before our own needs. One of the many ways we are allowed to seek to help others is to pray for them seeking the sustanance and blessings of Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, for and upon them, just as we were tuaght to do by the lived example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be uon him , his family and his followers) who spent countless nights praying for literally everyone. Alhumdulillah!
Ma'a salaam.

Allaah Eternally Willed and Eternally Knew and Eternally Destined for all that will happen to happen.
What is written can not be changed,
A Muslim makes a supplication (du^aa') in the hope that perhaps it is written that he makes a supplication which is fulfilled - either way he has done a great act of worship by supplicating.

Good Question.
If people of faith say things like "It's God's will", why are their hands on the steering wheel when they drive. How can they praise him for simple things like finding keys or winning a Texas high school football game while thousands of people die in a tsunami or flood or genocide? It doesn't make sense.
Religion is:
A hoax.
A tool to control the masses.
A crutch for weak-minded people.
Contradictory and hypocritical.
Something people find on their deathbed or in jail, but never AFTER winning the lottery or a championship.

I pray for freedom from the bondage of self and to do Gods will, not mine. I pray that i may be useful to others and adopt the philosophy that "love and tolerance is my code of living."
I pray for guidance and strength......
just my humble pagan thoughts...

If you know that some day you will die. why do you work or get married or continue your life. why don't you kill yourself instead of waiting for your end.
God gave you mind to use it and he knows how you will use it so he knows everything but you still have to use it.

God knows that you will pray for something and it is written for you that God will answer because of your prayer to him.
