I am a strong christian. I have a solid relationship with God and I repent my mistakes and ask for forgiveness for my sins daily. I do bad things and I wish I didn't do them.
But... what do you all think of someone who calls you insane and a bad christian for no reason other than his or her opinion. In my case... it's a guy who just wants lots of attention n always thinks he is right.... but he doesn't and never did care to stop and think of my perspective and never will because he refuses willingly. These words straight from his mouth, not quoted of course.
So I know he will read this question... because he is probably dying to crucify me in any way he can.... just for the fun of it.
What do you all think of someone who says another person's faith is not strong.... to say someone else's faith is corrupt.

and just to clear things up after some answers i got... i ask for forgiveness every day for the sins i have committed... but more often the things i have done wrong but am too ignorant to know that i have done them wrong...
i ask for forgiveness every day more often to the sins that i dont know i have committed because i didnt know it was a sin... Example would be if i didnt see the note my mom left me not to drink the tea in the fridge, but then i go and drink it clearly not knowing i wasnt supposed to drink it.... those are the things i repent upon as well... even tho i dont believe they are sins, because i dont know what im doing is wrong, but nevertheless the tea is in my belly now and i caused misfortune to my mom by drinking it.... so i ask for forgiveness for those types of things as well
everyone sins.... sometimes we even forget that we have sinned and forget to repent upon those sins... so i repent upon the sins i may have forgotten also...

I get that all the time as a Hellenic Polytheist. I'm called deluded IF I'm not being painted as a "devil-worshipper".
I am glad that you have the strong relationship with your God that you do. And I am saddened that there are some people who have missed the point of Christianity the way this person evidently has.

First off none can judge your faith but God. Second I find most people who refuse to believe do so because they feel that if they dont't belive then they don't have to live a rightious life style that keeps them from doing the things they enjoy. believing means they have to face there demons and put them to rest and that is far too inconveniant.
What I would do is tell him "I will pray for you and then every day tell him you did soand do it . Pray for him. Pray that God soften his heart and to use you in any way he sees fit to bring him to God.

I know what you mean, I get this from self-righteous Christians all the time, among a few others.
Usually it's due to pure ignorance. I find that 99% of the people who give me crap for my choice of religion can't even list the most basic tenets of it. They just go along with what they've heard from pop culture. Other times it's coming from these compulsive debating types who are usually attention-starved, or trying to find reinforcement for their own dwindling strength in their own beliefs.

Deeds...comparable reason as yours. Deeds do not constantly must be actual works. in basic terms being stable and tolerant are stable deeds. Who won't be in a position to to that? actual stable deeds once you are able to, stable deeds of the middle and concepts constantly, yet maximum serious is to easily be the superb individual you will possibly properly be. learn out of your blunders and attempt to not make the comparable ones. Be altruistic in the direction of fellow people, love nature and the Earth, and be in awe of the universe. taking good care of each individual and each thing that has been given to you need to be deed sufficient. in basic terms be stable. Addition: So do I, notme :)

Jesus was ridicule and many criticized him. It also says in the bible that Many Christians will suffer for following Him. So my advice pray for him without ceasing. Pray that your Love for the Lord will shine upon his life and that our God will work with that seed and help it to grow within his heart that he might see the Glory of God.

Just ignore it. If you are that secure in your beliefs, then those who question it shouldn't affect you in any way at all.
I once had a Christian who questioned my family because they were Jewish, and myself because I'm Atheist.
If I were to tell believers of my own beliefs, I'd get either scornful glares or idiots questioning my choice in belief.
You know what I do? Ignore it and go on my merry way. If this person ask you questions about your faith I advise you not humor him and walk away.

the only Being you need to listen to about your spiritual maturity is God.
And I can tell you the best thing you can do for this person you're talking about is to first pray for him. Pray that God opens his eyes to the truth. Then, go out of your way to do something very, very, nice for him. Let him see that you only wish what is best for him. That you care about him as a person and that you wish him no wrong.
This will bring a great defeat to Satan, who is the real enemy of yours; not your friend.

So how faithful are you really if you have to ask forgiveness for sins daily? To me that is verging on hypocritical.

Because this person is challenging your faith you in turn feel some need to prove yourself. However your heart and faith needs to be strong enough to know that you don't need his approval. he is just a person just like you. when you let go of the need to please this person your heart will open up to allow people in your life who do appreciate you the way you are.
